Fosta închisoare a ansamblului evanghelic Mediaș

The exhibition space is located in the former prison within the fortified church of “St. Margaret” in Mediaș. The space contains a series of significant historical testimonies that form part of its collective memory. The exhibition concept seeks to evoke the memory of the place and the experience of detention, inviting visitors to engage in a direct dialogue with the material and symbolic traces preserved within. The floor lamps, equipped with adjustable spotlights, are powered through discreetly integrated routes and supported by custom-made concrete bases, produced in the design studio as part of the creative process developed for the project.
