Restoration of the "Sf. Nicolae" Orthodox Church in Făgăraș

The project aims to restore the "Sf. Nicolae" Orthodox Church in Făgăraș, an 18th-century historical monument in an advanced state of degradation. The intervention proposes structural reinforcement, reconstruction of the roof structure and covering, restoration of the plaster and mural paintings, as well as the functional reactivation of the church. The works are planned in stages, including the arrangement of the premises and the installation of necessary systems for liturgical and cultural use. The project adheres to the principles of heritage intervention, with a focus on preserving the historical value and integrating the church into the life of the community.
